Free transportation during most weekdays and on Saturdays is provided by the Bona Bus. The bus makes numerous stops on campus as well as in the neighboring communities of Olean and Allegany.

On weekdays, the bus runs from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. On Saturday, the bus runs from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Download the schedule.

Students and employees are encouraged to register their bicycles with the Office of Safety & Security. Registration is free.

Any bicycle stored or operated on campus should have a valid permit (sticker) and must be parked in a bike rack and locked. Bikes attached to signs or trees, left in stairwells (a fire code violation) or otherwise improperly stored may be impounded and a fee assessed. Locks destroyed or damaged during removal will not be replaced. Free indoor storage is provided for any registered bike.

Bicycles not in use may not be stored on campus over the summer. Summer students with bikes should make arrangements by calling (716) 375-2525 or emailing security@sbu.edu.

At the end of spring semester, unregistered or inoperable bikes will be sold at auction. Those not sold will be discarded.
