Social Media Skills for Today's Content Creators
Social media has transformed how organizations connect with audiences, making it one of the most valuable skills for today's communication professionals. While the Bachelor of Arts in Content Creation is broader than a social media degree, students learn how to develop platform specific content, write compelling digital stories, engage online communities, analyze audience performance, and create multimedia campaigns that support organizational goals.
Coursework combines content strategy, visual storytelling, video production, writing, branding, and audience engagement to prepare graduates for careers that increasingly rely on social media expertise.
Whether you hope to work in marketing, public relations, journalism, corporate communications, nonprofit organizations, or digital media, you'll graduate with the creative, strategic, and technical skills needed to produce content that connects with audiences across today's leading social media platforms.

Internships equip you to meet a fast-evolving marketplace.
The creator economy is surging: full-time digital creator jobs in the U.S. soared from approximately 200,000 in 2020 to 1.5 million in 2024 — a 7.5 × increase — according to a recent report by the Interactive Advertising Bureau and Harvard Business School.
As content creation and visual storytelling become central across industries, this program positions you directly for that growth.
In our BA in Content Creation, you will complete 400 hours of internship experience — a requirement consistent across all majors in the Jandoli School. The school’s dedicated internship coordinator will guide you in securing meaningful placements both on campus and off. Meanwhile, you’ll also gain hands-on opportunities through our many campus media outlets.
