St. Bonaventure University’s summer educational experience at Sant’Anna Institute is designed to professionally immerse students of any major into the Italian culture, and educate them on best practices in communication and business, on a global level. And it all happens in one of the most beautiful places, in the world, Sorrento, Italy.
Sorrento is home to proud culture, ancient history and a close-knit Italian community — perfect for your five-week academic and cultural immersion along the Amalfi Coast.
This mobile-learning program is a St. Bonaventure-stamped exploration of self, culture and profession in one of the most historically rich locations in the world. It’s time for your global awakening.
It’s time to push your professional boundaries and know what it’s like to live and work in Europe. You aren’t average. Why should your study abroad experience be? Get a taste of the life you can create for yourself. Go abroad. Go Sorrento.
In early 2017, St. Bonaventure University faculty member Anna Bulszewicz partnered with academic coordinators at Sant’Anna Institute
in Sorrento, Italy, to create the Sorrento, Italy, Study Abroad Program for students at St. Bonaventure University.
Participating students have the ability to customize their experience abroad. Students can register for two courses and earn a total of six transferable college credits or apply for a customized internship experience. Note: Students who wish to earn college credits are required to take Bulszewicz’s Strategic Writing and Professional Communications Abroad (SC301) course, and are also offered the course Global Business: Italy & Tourism taught by Dr. Davide de Gennaro
The Sorrento, Italy, Study Abroad Program is a five-week international studies experience, for students of any major. The mobile-learning approach provides students with a robust body of portfolio work, endless global networking possibilities, and an opportunity to be featured in a Sorrento publication, just to name a few of the key takeaways.
