Researching employers

First, research companies and industries to find those that interest you, then apply to targeted companies, regardless of whether the firms are advertising open positions. Be sure to learn enough about the companies to ask informed questions at the interview and relate your qualifications to the needs of the organization.

  • Job search resources for veterans

    We work closely with the university's Office of Veterans Services to address the career preparation needs of veteran and military families. We recognize that the transition from the military to college and civilian life can present challenges.

    We provide services to assist veterans, as well as military dependents enrolled at St. Bonaventure, including spouses and children. We encourage you to schedule an appointment through Handshake with a member of our professional staff if you would like assistance with any of the following:
