St. Bonaventure again recognized by Princeton Review

St. Bonaventure University has once again been named one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education by The Princeton Review

The education services company selected St. Bonaventure for inclusion in the 2027 edition of its flagship college guide, The Best 392 Colleges, released Tuesday

Only about 14% of America’s nearly 2,800 four-year colleges are included in the guide. The Princeton Review selected the schools based on surveys of college administrators about their academic offerings and feedback from students about their campus experiences

St. Bonaventure’s profile highlights what students say are the university’s “qualified staff, welcoming student body, and opportunities for service and extracurricular activities,” which combine to provide “a well-rounded college experience.

Students were especially complimentary of the university’s faculty, calling professors “the backbone of this university” and praising their accessibility and commitment to students. One student summed up the Bonaventure experience best: “It’s a small school with great programs and an enormously huge heart.

“We’re delighted to name St. Bonaventure one of our Best Colleges for 2027 and recommend it to students searching for their ‘best-fit’ college,” said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review’s editor-in-chief and lead author of The Best 392 Colleges. “St. Bonaventure has outstanding academic programs, but we also took into account the candid feedback we received from its very own customers — its students.

The Princeton Review surveyed 172,000 students at the 392 colleges, asking them to report on their experiences at their schools. The company does not rank the 392 institutions on its overall list, only its subcategories

The 2027 edition marks the 35th year of The Princeton Review’s flagship college guide, which debuted in 1992. St. Bonaventure’s complete Princeton Review profile is available here.
