Leading the best soldiers in the world isn't easy. And since ROTC is designed to get you ready to lead them, you'll find that it's not easy, either. Are you ready for the challenge?
To be successful with us, you'll need to be a scholar. Not every student qualifies to join ROTC. How's your GPA? Do you have high test scores? Have you been awarded academic honors in school or on campus? Come talk to us, and we can discuss whether you're qualified to join us.
Today's leader must make quick, accurate assessments of complex situations, considering vast amounts of information. If you have what it takes, we'll help get you ready.
Every leader faces physical demands. For military leaders, the physical challenge can push you to the limits of your ability. To be successful in Army ROTC, you need to be an athlete. Are you involved in athletics? Do you compete? At a minimum, we'll expect you to be able to do push-ups, sit-ups, and run two miles.
You'll also have to be able to march with a backpack, while carrying a rifle and other equipment. Hey, if it was easy, everyone could do it. Think you can hang? Ready to test yourself? To push yourself? We'll help.
Most importantly, you have to be a leader. We'll train you and teach you, showing you how to be the best you can be. But only you can provide the desire to become one of America 's finest.
How have you demonstrated a desire for leadership? Have you been involved in student government? Were you ever a manager at work? Have you served in a position of responsibility in a volunteer or civic organization? If you want to lead, there's no better place to get better.
Not everyone qualifies to join us. Even fewer display the fortitude to complete our program. Only about 15 students each year have what it takes. But if you are one of them, we can be one of the smartest college courses you can take. We prepare you for success in any walk of life -- military, corporate, government, or non-profit.
Whom do we want? We want the future. We are Army ROTC -- the best leadership course in America!
