Dr. Joseph Hall’s seventh full-length book of poems, “Buffalo Free Rapid Transit,” will be published in early April by Black Ocean Press.

The culture and politics magazine Current Affairs described Hall’s previous book, “Fugue & Strike,” as “a remarkable poetic project, unlike anything else in literature today.”

The sequel to "Fugue & Strike," "Buffalo Free Rapid Transit" combines a darkly observant stroll through the city with a love letter to Buffalonians trying to get by.

Hall is an assistant professor of English at the university.
