Hope and opportunity bring student speaker to Commencement podium May 12, 2025 | Hope — and a door to opportunity held open — brought Anas Alami to St. Bonaventure University four years ago. Today, this once-shy Brooklyn native who navigated the foster care system has been selected as the student speaker for SBU’s 165th Commencement Exercises on May 18.

The case study won the Distinguished Case Writing Award.

Rengifo, Fordham University) in FinTech.
Paper by SBU trio used in probe into federal revenue fraud May 1, 2025 | Darwin L. King, professor of Accounting, Dr. Carl J. Case, professor of Management, and Michael L. McLanahan, lecturer in Accounting, received a request from a senior analyst for the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) for a copy of a paper published by the trio last year.
