RocketCup launches 2nd edition of Bonaventure-branded coffee

RocketCup Coffee has launched the second edition of its Bonnies Blend, marking another milestone in the company’s growing College Coffee line.
While the fresh-roasted coffee inside remains the same fan-favorite blend, the updated bag reflects the continued evolution of the brand and its deep connection to St. Bonaventure University, the place where RocketCup Coffee was born.
St. Bonaventure holds a special place in RocketCup’s story. The company was founded within the walls of SBU’s School of Business, where co-founders and St. Bonaventure alumni first brought their vision to life. When RocketCup launched its new College Coffee program in February 2025, it was only fitting that St. Bonaventure became the very first school in the lineup.
Now, once again, the Bonnies lead the way.
With this release, St. Bonaventure becomes the first university to receive a second edition College Coffee bag, continuing its role as the foundation and inspiration behind the brand’s national expansion.
“Everything starts with St. Bonaventure,” said MacKenzie Bush, co-founder of RocketCup Coffee and St. Bonaventure alumna. “This university gave us the support, the community, and the belief to build something bigger than ourselves. The Bonnies aren’t just a partner, they’re our heroes. This company was built because of St. Bonaventure, and it all starts with Bonnies.”
The launch of the second edition comes as RocketCup accelerates its national growth, bringing officially licensed, school-specific coffee to fans across the country while supporting university communities and alumni engagement. The company plans to add 50 additional universities over the next several months, expanding its College Coffee line to campuses and alumni communities across the country.

Join fellow Bonnies to root on the men’s basketball team as they face Penn State in an exhibition game at the Key Bank Center in Buffalo, NY at 4:00 p.m.
All courtside seats (first row) and floor seats on risers (second row) in sections 1-10 include access to the 1970 Club located behind Section 123. The 1970 Club will include a cash bar that will open at 1:30 p.m. and food served at 3:00 p.m.
