The Vigil Prayer Service and Funeral Mass for Fr. Dan Riley, ofm, who passed away Wednesday, will be held at St. Bonaventure University on Thursday, Aug. 1., and Friday, Aug. 2, 2024. Both events will be held in the University Chapel, with Friday’s Mass being livestreamed here.

Anticipating a large turnout for the funeral Mass, overflow seating to view the livestream will be available in the Quick Center for the Arts theater. An RSVP survey will be emailed to alumni and friends Monday to gauge potential attendance.

Visitation/Vigil Prayer Service – Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024

• Visitation/Wake – University Chapel, 3-7 p.m.
• Vigil Prayer Service - University Chapel, 7-7:30 p.m.
• (Optional) Meditative Reflection/Sharing – Doyle Conference Center, 7:45-8:45 p.m.

Funeral Mass – Friday, Aug. 2, 2024

• Alternate Visitation – University Chapel, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
• Funeral Mass – University Chapel, with Quick Center for overflow, 11 a.m.
• Post-Mass Reception – Hickey Dining Hall
• NOTE: Committal will be private at a later date.
