Darwin L. King, professor of accounting, Michael L. McLanahan, lecturer in accounting, and Dr. Carl J. Case, professor of management, presented a paper on March 4 at the 30th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Business and Behavioral Sciences, held in Las Vegas.

 

The paper, titled “Frauds Do Not Pause For A Pandemic,” discussed the material frauds that occurred during the pandemic years from 2020 through 2022. 

 

The paper earned a Best Paper award from ASBBS. McLanahan is in his first year as a lecturer in the Department of Accounting.
