PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Aime has clinical experience in the following areas of occupational therapy: geriatrics, school-based OT and early intervention. For several years, her passion had been working in the long-term care and sub-acute rehab setting. She was a director of rehabilitation at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing in Jamestown, New York, prior to transitioning to academia. 

She previously served as a capstone adviser and adjunct instructor in the post-professional OTD program at Gannon University.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Aime enjoys teaching courses about theories, frameworks, practice and service delivery models that support growing areas of practice as well as new and emerging models of practice in the field of occupational therapy.
