Dr. Benjamin Posmanick, assistant professor of finance, has submitted a working paper in the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) Working Paper series. The paper is co-authored with Dr. Peter Blair of Harvard University's Graduate School of Education.
Titled "Why Did Gender Wage Convergence in the United States Stall?," the article proposes the introduction of mandated family-leave policies as a solution to the puzzle of stagnant gender wage gaps since the mid-1990s. The paper has been reported on in The Guardian and Bloomberg in addition to other outlets.
