Judges have been announced for the Bona’s Got Talent show, which will take place on Nov. 12, 2019, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. The judges will sit on a three-person
panel that will vote for the top three acts using a top-secret scoring system.
The three judges are St. Bonaventure faculty members Giles Bootheway, lecturer in the Department of Finance; Dr. Tracy Schrems, assistant professor of education; and Michael Jones-Kelley, lecturer in the Jandoli School
of Communication.
The university’s Event and Sponsorship Marketing class is hosting the talent show, and all proceeds will benefit BonaResponds. The money will be used to help lower costs for students joining the disaster relief team heading
to the weather-torn island nation of the Bahamas.
“The class has worked extremely hard to plan this event and we are hoping the Bona community will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed planning it,” said Jill Moeller, a member of the class. “We are also very humbled to be able to support BonaResponds’ winter
break trip as much as we can.”
Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased in the Quick Center Box Office for $5. The event will also have basket raffles with tickets going for $1 each or $5 for a strip of tickets.
