CommDay is an opportunity for high school students to take a glimpse into the future, to get a sense of what they will be doing if they choose to pursue one of a number of exciting and rewarding careers in professional communication.
The day includes interactive workshops, a campus tour, a keynote address, presentations by media professionals, activities throughout the day that keep you engaged on your cell phone or tablet.
There's also an optional CommPetition in which school teams produce a compelling video, series of photos or feature/news articles addressing a selected CommDay topic. Prizes include $1,000 or $500 scholarships to each member of winning teams.
There are also giveaways, including St. Bonaventure backpacks, water bottles and other gear.
There's no charge to attend CommDay or to enter the CommPetition.
CommDay is typically held in the fall. No date has been set for CommDay 2020. A complete schedule of events and activities will be published on this site as well as details about registering to attend and/or to participate in the CommPetition will be announced on this page after the start of the 2020-2021 school year in September of 2020. Please return then.
