Fisher and Brawdy present at annual AERA conference

Dr. Paul Brawdy, associate professor of physical education, and Dr. Anne-Claire Fisher, associate professor of inclusive special education, presented a paper at the 2021 virtual annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association, held April 8-12.

Their paper, titled "Letting the World in: A Study of Empathy and Cross-Cultural Work in Teacher Education," was presented April 12 at a session with the theme "Teaching as Peace Education Praxis for the Historically Marginalized."

The AERA annual meeting is the world's largest gathering of education researchers and a showcase for groundbreaking, innovative studies in an array of areas. This year's conference was titled "Accepting Educational Responsibility."
