Chimbel moderates panel at Broadcast Education conference

Two St. Bonaventure University professors have been honored by their colleagues with awards of excellence for the 2022-23 academic year. Dr. Pauline Hoffmann, associate professor of communication, was awarded the Professional Excellence in Community Service Award, while Dr. Adam Brown, professor of elementary education, was awarded the university’s Professional Excellence in Teaching Award.

Dr. Chris Mackowski, professor of journalism and mass communication, was recently chosen by the Houston (Texas) Civil War Roundtable as this year's recipient of its Frank E. Vandiver Award.

DeSimone and Harris win Best Paper award at conference

Dr. Kimberly DeSimone, professor of leadership, and Heather Harris, assistant professor and director of the master's in communication program, presented their research paper titled "Move Over Scholar-Practitioners; Make Way for the Scholar-Creator" on March 24 at the 2023 Academy of Business Research Conference in New Orleans.

Jim Engelhardt, ’79, was honored Thursday with the John Domino Award, given biennially to a St. Bonaventure University alumnus who has excelled in sports communication.
