    Dec 06, 2023 | Two St. Bonaventure University seniors received the prestigious Jay B. Nash Outstanding Major Award at the 85th Annual Conference of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (NYSAHPERD).

    Nov 17, 2023 | Dr. Margaret Hindman, assistant professor of counselor education, gave a 50-minute presentation titled "Empower Children through ACT Limit Setting: A Play Therapy Approach" at the online portion of the 2023 Association for Creativity in Counseling Conference on Nov. 3.

    Nov 03, 2023 | Dr. Donna Dombek, assistant professor in the childhood education program, presented at the annual conference of the New York State Association of Teacher Educators/New York Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, held at Saratoga Springs Oct. 25-27, 2023.

    Oct 20, 2023 | Dr. Heidi Henry, assistant professor of counselor education, presented a roundtable session titled “ProfessionaliZm: Professional Considerations for Gen Z and Beyond“ and a poster session titled “The Power of Choice: Comparing Asynchronous and Synchronous Instruction in Counselor Education“ at the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision conference, held in Denver, Colorado, Oct. 11-15.

Rebecca Scherer, Nathaniel Mason and Nate Smith, assistant professors of counselor education, and Dr. Ashley Luedke, associate professor and program director (from left in photos above), had a proposal accepted for presentation at the biannual Association for Counselor Education and Supervision conference held in Denver, Colorado, Oct. 11-15.
