Dr. Pauline Hoffmann, associate professor of communication, recently participated in the Broadcast Education Association's yearly conference on a panel titled "Social Media Influence on COVID."

 

She joined several colleagues in a discussion of disinformation and the role social media has played in disseminating inaccurate information, the role of media literacy, and how to combat disinformation.
