Dr. Benjamin Posmanick, assistant professor of Finance, published a research brief for the Cato Institute based on his previously published article “Remembering the (College Football) Titans: Integrating College Football in the South” (Journal of Sports Economics).

The research finds that worse college football teams were more likely to integrate, potentially as a mechanism to field better players. The brief is available here.
