SBU's King, Case and McLanahan present papers at conference

Michael L. McLanahan, lecturer of Accounting, Dr. Carl J. Case, professor of Business Information Systems, and Darwin L. King, professor of Accounting, presented their paper titled "A Pandemic of Problems: The History of the Employee Retention Credit" at the Academy of Business Research Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Alexander Antonacci, a graduate student in the 150-hour Professional Accountancy MBA program, co-authored the paper and led the presentation.

King, Case and McLanahan also presented a paper titled "Importance of Ethics to the Fortune 50: Pre and Post Pandemic" at the Academy of Business Research Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. Brody Amidon, a senior Accounting major and co-author of the paper, conducted the presentation.
