Planned campus-based celebration for Sunday, May 17, remains tentative as we await guidance on gatherings related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Commencement exercises for the Class of 2021, scheduled for Sunday, May 17, 2021, are on hold at this time due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Plans for all campus-based commencement-related celebrations are contingent on developments regarding spread of the coronavirus and guidance on crowd gatherings from health officials. We expect to make an announcement by the middle of spring semester 2021.

Campus celebrations postponed, not canceled
We regret that the pandemic forced postponement of the rescheduled Class of 2020 commencement ceremony, scheduled for Family Weekend 2020, which was to be held Sept. 26-27. Both events were postponed because of the lingering pandemic.
The university remains committed, however, to conducting on-campus celebrations honoring all graduates whose commencements are postponed due to the pandemic. All such plans will be announced as developments warrant.
