St. Bonaventure alumni want to help today's Bonnies in their personal and professional development. That’s why they created the Buzzy Fund, which will help subsidize Bona students taking an important career step by reimbursing some or all of the costs of professional development -- such as attending seminars or conferences, preparing or registering for teacher certification, taking license or certification tests like the CPA and graduate entrance exams like the LSAT, GMAT, MCAT and GRE.
If a student does not have the financial resources to cover these costs, the Buzzy Fund may be able to help.
Students in all schools and majors at St. Bonaventure are eligible to apply and receive grant money. Faculty and staff members must submit an application on behalf of a student, including confirmation of the student’s need for financial assistance. The minimum award per student is $500, with a maximum of $2,500.
The application to apply for an award can be found on MySBU under Academics in the Academic Resources area. For more information, contact Dr. David Hilmey, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, at (716) 375-2136 or email@example.com.
