These are just a few of more than 70 items available in an online auction to benefit the endowment of St. Bonaventure University; 100% of the proceeds will go to the endowment.

Bidding begins at 8 a.m. EST on Monday, June 8, and concludes at 11 p.m. EST Monday, June 15, but the site is accessible now for people to preview the available items before the auction opens. (Bidding on one item — a pair of gallery passes to the men’s U.S. Open June 18-21 on Long Island — ends at noon EST on June 12.)

Bidding on items, but not previewing, will require people to register for a 32auctions.com account, but the process is simple. Click “Login” in the top right corner of the SBU auction homepage, then select “Create an account” to register with your name and email address.

This is the second year of the Endowment Auction, which raised more than $78,000 last June.

“Taking part in the auction is an investment in our students and their futures,” said Dr. Jeff Gingerich, university president. “Every dollar raised through the auction strengthens our endowment, ensuring that deserving students can access the transformational opportunities a St. Bonaventure education can provide.”

The university concluded its seven-year Bolder Bonaventure campaign in 2025, topping its goal of $125 million by more than $6 million. But Gingerich said for the university to thrive going forward, building a meaningful endowment is critical.

Approximately 500 of SBU’s 2,000-plus undergraduate students benefit from endowed scholarships each year, but that has to improve, the president said.

“I know how passionate Bonnies are and I want to make sure that future Bonnies have a chance to experience the same life-changing opportunities that shaped my journey,” said Michael Hickey, Class of 1984, and trustee emeritus.

Among the other items available in the auction are the following:

• Week-long stays at Siesta Key, Hilton Head and Tybee Island
• Footballs signed by Barry Sanders and Peyton Manning
• A two-night stay at The Breakers in West Palm Beach, including golf
• A $2,500 Stitch Golf gift certificate
• Three sets of courtside seats with hotels for 2026-27 Bonnies games
• Artwork of Fr. Dan Riley, ofm
• A Breville Oracle espresso machine
• Golf at Colonial Springs Golf Club and the Country Club of Rochester
• A Cutco knife set
  

Bidders will have a “Buy It Now” option if they see an item they don’t want to risk losing to another bidder.
