Bolder Bonaventure Campaign Surpasses Goal, Raises Over $131M
Helping today's learners become tomorrow's leaders and innovators is a Bona tradition.
Hosting an event, assisting a department on campus, or talking with prospective students can make a big impact.
Hands-only CPR training offered April 3 at Reilly Center Hall of Fame
In partnership with Assemblyman Joseph M. Giglio and the American Red Cross, St. Bonaventure will host a hands-only CPR training course Monday, April 3.
Three 30-minute sessions of the free, non-certificate course will be offered — one for SBU students only at 12:30 p.m., and two others at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. that are open to students, staff, faculty and the general public.
Space in each class is limited so people are encouraged to register here for the session of their choice as soon as possible.
“CPR training is an easy-to-learn, invaluable skill that could save lives, and we should all know how to perform this important technique,” said Giglio (R-C, Gowanda). “I’m grateful for the partnership with the American Red Cross and St. Bonaventure in this initiative. We are fortunate to have their cooperation, which allows us to present these sessions free of charge to individuals to learn this lifesaving skill.”
St. Bonaventure’s Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT) will serve as student co-sponsors of the event, assisting with promotion both on and off campus.
“The assistance of the MERT students is an additional bonus,” Giglio said. “This highly trained student medical force assists with emergencies on campus, and I’m pleased they are supporting this event.”
