The Atlantic Brass Quintet, widely celebrated as one of the world’s most acclaimed and versatile brass chamber ensembles, will return to St. Bonaventure University this summer for its 33rd annual Atlantic Brass Quintet Summer Seminar.
Hosted at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts, the two-week immersive program brings world-class music education and performance opportunities to Western New York while providing advanced instruction for talented brass musicians from across the country.
“We’re extremely grateful that Atlantic Brass has returned to the Quick Center,” said Dr. Rachel Harris, executive director of the Quick Center. “They have taken their summer seminar all over the nation for more than three decades, and for them to come back to Bonaventure after being here last summer is very meaningful.”
As part of the seminar, the Quick Center will open the doors of the Rigas Family Theater to the community free of charge, inviting local music lovers, families, educators and students to experience rehearsals, masterclasses and performances by the Atlantic Brass Quintet and seminar participants.
