Dr. Connie Perkins, RN, CNE, founding director of nursing, and Darla Kent, clinical assistant professor of occupational therapy, have achieved certification to teach mental health first aid to students and the community.

 

They completed certification requirements through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, with funding from a university Keenan grant
