Calabria gives lecture, writes article for tribute collection

Fr. Michael Calabria, O.F.M., director of the Center for Arab & Islamic Studies, gave a lecture sponsored by the Department of Religion at Carthage College, Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Nov. 3.
 
The title of the lecture was "Islamic Architecture of Grief — Foundations of Faith."
 
Fr. Michael was also a contributor to "Witness to Common Hope: Festschrift," a collection of writings in honor of Fr. Christian W. Troll, SJ (Gujarat, India, 2022), a pioneer in Christian-Muslim relations. Calabria's article is titled "Losing Their Way: Franciscan Martyrs and Missionaries in South Asia."
