Dr. Michael J. Fischer, professor of accounting, was elected a commissioner of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) at its November meeting. 

Fischer's three-year term begins Jan 1, 2021. 

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is the accreditor of more than 500 institutions of higher education, principally in the Middle Atlantic region of the United States.
