Oct 27, 2020 Dr. Pamina Abkowitz, assistant professor of childhood education, will moderate a panel discussion for the American Council on Rural Special Education (ACRES) from 4-5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5.

The panel will discuss establishing partnerships with rural school districts in an effort to improve student outcomes. Panelists include Dr. Paul Brawdy, associate professor of physical education at SBU, and Jerry Mottern, director of the Office of Education Preparation Placement and Certification for SBU's School of Education.
