Dr. Brian Stevens, adjunct instructor and director of choral and vocal music, has been invited to conduct the Connecticut Music Educators Southern Region Treble Choir Festival at Naugatuck High School, January 19-20, 2024. The choir will comprise more than 100 students from across southern Connecticut.

Stevens will be conducting a diverse set of contemporary works by composers Edie Hill, Marques L.A. Garrett, Elaine Hagenberg, Anna Cedarberg-Orreteg, and Dale Trumbore.

Also, Stevens was recently accepted as one of 53 international professional conductors, and one of only four in the U.S., to serve as founding members of the World Choral Conductors Network organization.
