Ursula Herz, director of Residence Life, completed the Diversity and Inclusion certificate program at Cornell University in November of 2021.

 

The program is designed to assist individuals in making an organization a more supportive and engaging place to work by understanding the perceptual, institutional, and psychological processes that impact the ways people interact with each other.

 

The program looks at employee engagement, then identifies interventions surrounding unconscious bias and specific diversity and inclusion strategies. Its goal is to help professionals go beyond mere compliance to build a truly aware and inclusive work culture.
