Faculty Spotlight
Dr. Megan Walsh, professor of English and department chair, was awarded a 2020-2021 Short-term Reese Fellowship in the Print Culture of the Americas at the William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. The fellowship supports research for her book project, "Bad Archives: Extra-illustration and Information Management in the Nineteenth Century United States."

As a walk-on for the Bonnies men’s basketball team in the 1990-1991 season,
Chris Hagstrom played a total of maybe 10 minutes. He loved every second of it. “Coach Chapman invited me back to play the next year, but I told him ‘I think I’m gonna pass,’” he said with a laugh. “I just really appreciated being invited back again.”

“It was destiny.” That’s how Priscilla Contreras describes becoming a student at St. Bonaventure University. First paired with Bona’s through a combination of hard work and the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program, the senior journalism major from the Bronx now considers St. Bonaventure home.
