Dr. Swagata Banik, dean and professor in the DePerro School of Health Professions, served as a Steering Committee member for Cattaraugus and McKean County Community Health Needs Assessment.

He also co-authored a peer-reviewed manuscript with colleagues from Case Western Reserve University Medical School. Titled “Prevalence of Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome in Transgender and Gender Diverse Individuals: A Retrospective Cohort Study,” the manuscript was published in LGBT Health. Read it here.
