Do you live near other Western New York libraries that you would like to use? The library participates in a program called "Academic Share" that allows you to use regional academic libraries, and borrow books from them, simply by presenting your SBU ID card. Libraries in the program include Buffalo State College, Canisius College, Daemen College, Medaille College, Niagara County Community College, Niagara University, St. Bonaventure University, University of Buffalo, and Villa Maria College.
If you are looking for books in the Friedsam Memorial Library, use the Library of Congress letter H as your starting point.
