    Sep 10, 2025 | Molly Vaughan, clinical assistant professor of Occupational Therapy, presented in April at the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Inspire Conference in Philadelphia, where she shared her team’s work in developing the first occupational therapy program in Jamaica.

    Sep 10, 2025 | Dr. Swagata Banik, dean and professor in the DePerro School of Health Professions, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Western New York Rural Area Health Education Center (WNY R-AHEC).

    Sep 10, 2025 | Jack Steger successfully defended his dissertation on Aug. 15, titled “Beyond the Degree & Financial Obligations: An Examination of Generation Z (1995-2010) Perspectives, Attitudes, and Motivations on Giving to American Higher Education.”

    Sep 10, 2025 | Dr. Tyrone Bynoe, associate professor and director of the Educational Leadership programs leading to advanced supervisory licensure, is the lead editor of an emerging book titled “Mentoring within the Continuum of School Leadership Preparation, Vol 1.”

    Sep 10, 2025 | Heather Lynn Harris, associate professor at the Jandoli School of Communication, is pleased to present “Once Upon a Sketch,” a solo exhibition at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.

    Sep 10, 2025 | Dr. Sheri Voss, assistant professor of Literacy in the School of Education, was elected as president-elect of the New York State Reading Association (NYSRA).

    Sep 10, 2025 | Dr. Tracy Schrems, associate professor of Educational Leadership, and Dr. Sheri Voss, assistant professor of Literacy, have been accepted to present at the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) Accelerate 2025 Conference in Orlando, Florida, Nov. 17–20.

    Sep 10, 2025 | Dr. Tammy Matthews, assistant professor in Sports Journalism & Digital Journalism, and Dr. Tara Walker, associate professor of Communication, organized and participated in a panel at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) conference in San Francisco, California, in August.

    Aug 22, 2025 | Dr. Tammy Rae Matthews, assistant professor in Sports Journalism & Digital Journalism, had two peer-reviewed presentations accepted at the Second International Trans Studies Conference held Sept. 4-7, 2024, at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

    Aug 22, 2025 | Dr. Ebony White, associate professor of Counselor Education, presented with colleagues at the Caribbean Studies Association conference on June 1-7.
