McLaughlin presents at Black Mental Health Symposium

Dr. Whitney McLaughlin, assistant professor of counselor education in the School of Education, presented at the 6th annual Black Mental Health Symposium, held virtually on Sept. 9 & 10. 
 
The title of her presentation was "Retweets and real tears: Using social media to foster solidarity and connection in dual pandemics."
 
The Black Mental Health Symposium is an annual national conference that aims to equip mental health professionals with culturally specific interventions to improve wellness in Black communities.
