Dr. Pauline Hoffmann, associate professor of communication, recently wrote an article highlighting the story of local TikTok celebrity, content creator, speaker and LGBTQ+ activist Leo WT, for Orato World Media, a digital news platform run by SBU alumna Pamela Say.

 

Hoffmann has also started a podcast and associated blog/website titled Data Doyenne. Bryce Murphy, an SBU senior from North Tonawanda with a double-major in psychology and Spanish, is executive producer.

 

The podcast was started as a way to combat the present climate of disinformation and to present data in an educational and entertaining way. You may listen via the website www.datadoyenne.com or wherever you listen to podcasts.
