The Jandoli Institute will sponsor “Working with Local Media,” a workshop for community organizations, on Thursday, March 19, at the Olean Public Library.
The session, scheduled for 7 p.m., is designed to help participants learn what editors look for in press releases and how they can interact more effectively with local media.
A panel of media professionals will provide advice, guidance and critiques.
The panel will consist of Jim Eckstrom, executive editor of the Olean Times Herald; Anne Lee, co-editor, TAPinto Greater Olean, and Kirk Windus, Communications and Fund Development Manager at the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation.
Richard Lee, executive director of the Jandoli Institute, will moderate the session.
