Dr. Yiming Peng is a Senior Data/Machine Learning Engineer at Chorus Limited, the largest telecommunication infrastructure provider in New Zealand. At Chorus, he has led or participated in many data engineering and machine learning projects, such as Enterprise
BI reporting tools construction, Tableau platform rationalisation, Data ingestion pipeline standardisation, Customer Churn Prediction, and K8S based MLOps Platform design.
Prior to Chorus, Peng worked as a data engineer at KPMG NZ Ltd, where he worked on data science projects for clients such as KPMG HQ, Mitre 10, New Zealand Police, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment of New Zealand.
Dr. Peng's major research interests are reinforcement learning, AI, deep learning, and data mining.
