PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
I have been a nurse for 16 years, and joined the faculty at Jamestown Community College in 2011. I have worked in medical surgical nursing, surgical nursing, and staff education.
A large part of my career has focused on surgical nursing, where I worked in the operating room, recovery room, performed endoscopies, and acted as a change nurse. While working in surgical nursing I obtained, and still maintain, my CNOR certification (certified nurse operating room).
I am currently a nursing instructor on the Cattaraugus County campus, generally teaching sophomore year courses, and I teach students in both the classroom and a clinical setting.
