Students in this five-week Spanish immersion experience earn 6 credits in Spanish. Courses include:
- Span 201-202. Intermediate Spanish
- Span 301-303. Composition & Conversation/Advanced Grammar & Composition
- Span 309. Spanish Civilization & Culture
- Span 335-435. Spanish Topics: Modern Language/Literature & Culture
Program features
Students stay with selected host families, two students per family, with all meals provided. Also included in the program:
- hotel and 2 meals on overnight excursions
- exploring Salamanca from the past to the present
- cultural excursion to Toledo, Segovia, and Madrid
- excursion in Portugal including transportation and hote
- cultural excursions to museums, historical sites, the Royal Palace, cathedrals, monuments, sightseeing, special group activities, and more
- books for courses
- basic medical insurance in Spain
- transportation to and from the airport in Madrid to Salamanca
- all transportation in Spain
- class meetings and pre-departure orientation at St. Bonaventure
Not Included in the program:
- airfare from the U.S. to Madrid
- personal expenses
- a valid U.S. passport
