St. Bonaventure has always held a special place in my family's story. My grandparents, Cornelius (Neil) Fay, a professor of philosophy, and Janet Fay, a lecturer in English, were both members of the university's faculty during the 1960s and 1970s. Several members of my family are proud alums, so I truly feel proud to serve in my role at an institution that has shaped many people around me. One of the things I love most about working at St. Bonaventure is the genuine sense of family and community. The Bona family is real, and it's what makes this place so special.
I earned my Master of Arts in Leadership from St. Bonaventure in 2023 and hold the SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional) credential. My career in human resources began in physician recruiting, but before finding my way into HR, I worked in the music and entertainment industry with Sony Music Entertainment, Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings. A fun fact from my time at Sony: I once shared an elevator with Alec Baldwin and didn't realize it was him until he was walking out!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two kids, singing, theater, golf, tennis, working out, listening to podcasts, and walking and playing fetch with our black and tan coonhound.
My favorite place on Earth is Truro, Cape Cod.
