PSYC 225. Psychology of Adult Development and Aging

As we age we undergo gains as well as losses during the adult years. The focus of this course is twofold; to emphasize what individuals can do to promote successful aging and to highlight what individuals can do when faced with the challenges of the declines and diseases that occur during the adult years. This course will examine adult development and aging in four domains: biological and physical, cognitive, personal, and social. Prerequisites: Psychology 101 or permission of the instructor.
