MARTIN BLIND, '94, '97
For Marty Blind, Bona’s is a family tradition. His father, Joe, is a member of the class of 1962; one of his sisters, Suzanne, graduated in 1990; and he and his wife, Therese, '98, met at a Bonaventure reunion (they each earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree at St. Bonaventure).
As an Advancement Officer, Marty’s focus is to help the university move forward in its mission and provide today’s students with the same opportunities he and his family were afforded as students.
Marty joined the Advancement team in 2008 after a 10-year career in marketing and sales (and a two-year stint with Bonaventure’s Office of Admissions, recruiting students throughout the northeastern United States). Today, his territory includes Albany, N.Y.; Philadelphia, PA.; Michigan; Tennessee; North Carolina; Illinois; and the New England area.
Marty and Therese are parents to three children — Charlie, Marty, and Clara. He and his family reside in Hamburg, N.Y.
