DeSimone wins Best Paper at Business Research conference
Dr. Kimberly DeSimone, professor and director of the master's in Leadership program, won a Best Paper award, management track, at the Academy of Business Research conference in New Orleans on March 21,
Her paper, titled "Ideal Leadership Traits, Big 5 Personality, Gender, & The Dark Triad," explored women in leadership in the Fortune 500. It included gender differences in leadership traits associated with ideal leadership, including agentic and communal traits as well as the growing body of literature on Dark Triad traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy.
