Vox Lusciniae

On Saturday, May 9, Vox Lusciniae, Western New York’s premiere professional treble choir, will perform the world premiere of two new choral works in Buffalo. Now in its third season, the choir is led by founder and artistic director Dr. Brian M. Stevens, director of choral activities at St. Bonaventure.

The new choral works are “Requiem” by Russian-American composer Jane Kozhevnikova and a sacred work by acclaimed Swedish composer Agneta Sköld. The concert will be held at 2 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Buffalo and is free to the public.  The choir features singers from across the United States and Canada and focuses specifically on contemporary repertoire for treble voices by living composers worldwide.
