Edward J. Bysiek, MBA, CPA, adjunct professor in the Department of Accounting and owner of Bysiek CPA, PLLC, was named the recipient of the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce Enterprising Business Award. The award is the highest recognition bestowed by the chamber and is presented to a business that reflects the Olean area’s “hometown” character through administration, customer service or presentation.

The award will be presented at the Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner to be held at the Olean Armory on Oct. 9. Bysiek is in his 20th year lecturing in the School of Business. His accounting firm was founded in 2007 and provides annual internship opportunities for SBU students pursuing the accounting field.
