Dr. Tyrone Bynoe, associate professor and director of the educational leadership programs leading to advanced supervisory licensure, has co-authored a book chapter for publication with Dr. Genelle Morris, the lead author and superintendent of the Olean City School District. 

The chapter, “Balancing accountability and educational equity: Superintendents confronting the tensions of compliance and justice,” was submitted in response to an invitation from editors Dr. Meredith Mountford and Dr. Leigh Wallace for inclusion in “Research on the Superintendency, Volume 3,” which will be printed by Emerald Group Publications. 

In addition, Bynoe and Morris have been invited to serve as peer-reviewers for the volume, evaluating and determining if other chapter manuscripts meet the scholarly rigor required for publication. Bynoe has fulfilled his blinded peer-review obligations for this manuscript.
