Eight SBU students inducted into Sigma Delta Pi

Sigma Delta Pi inducteesEight St. Bonaventure University students were inducted into the Xi Delta chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society.

Inducted were Ana Beyth, Diego Bopp, Caitlyn Clements, Domini Dalfonso, Sophie Kellogg, Valerie Manczak, Will O’Connor, and Albys Reynoso.

The induction, held at the end of the spring semester, was conducted by Dr. Alva V. Cellini and Dr. Jose M. Medrano, chapter adviser.

Founded in 1919, Sigma Delta Pi is the largest international foreign language society in the world, with over 540 chapters. It is the only honor society devoted exclusively to Spanish students in four-year colleges and universities.
